The elegant Hotel Continental is centrally located in Oslo, only 150 metres from Oslo’s main street, Karl Johan. It is the only 5-star hotel in Norway, and offers free in-room Internet access. Very stylish, great rooms. The gym was tiny yet functional and being there by myself was great. Breakfast was very good, both buffet options and the complimentary a la carte options. Really enjoyed this hotel. Super easy to get to with the airport train.

Situated in the Østbanehallen wing of Oslo Central Station, this hotel offers free WiFi, a free 24-hour gym and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. Perfect location for a first time visitor and the breakfast is very good. The room comes in reasonable size and has everything necessary to make a good stay. It’s not a typical hotel with all amenities but I love what they offer especially how they try to be environmentally friendly.

Housed in an early 1900s building in Oslo, Cochs Pensjonat offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. Karl Johans Gate shopping street is a 10-minute walk away. It was incredibly convenient and amazing. The room was spacious enough and have a mini kitchenette and they lent us the pots and plates to cook our own food. There’s free coffee and free luggage storage for when we checked out. They also kindly let us check in early. The staff was amazing and helpful especially Anna who’s very responsive in chats as well answering our questions. It’s very near to National Theatre and the Palace and all the surrounding parks.

This eco-friendly boutique hotel, 12 minutes' walk from Karl Johan Gate, offers an organic breakfast and designer rooms. Self-service saunas are available on-site. The hospitality was superb. We love to travel. We have stayed in many hotels. But the lady Carolina who cleaned our room was super amazing. We had a baby with us and the room was almost always messy. She took extra initiative and folded our laundry, cleaned our room thoroughly and made the bed. We were very much surprised and happy. Thank you for the service. The food at breakfast was totally organic. The reception ladies were always helpful. The location is very central and you get everything (including a cheap self service laundry) near the hotel. The bus no 21 leaves just seconds walk away from the hotel door. Everything was super smooth.
