This hotel is more than just a hotel. The owners make you feel like part of the family they are there to help. They are fourth generation owners and they have got everything correct. A beautiful historic hotel in a tranquil l setting next to a lac. Absolutely perfection itself. Nothing was a problem. I am lactose intolerant and they prepared different meals for me. The breakfast had so much choice even vegan cheese which was really lovely, and while I'm praising this hotel, I would just like to say they have the best coffee in Norway that I've tasted. Congratulations for treating their guests as friends. When we come back to Norway we certainly will go out of our way to stay there again. The location overlooking the lake is Paradise, with the nicest owners.

Overlooking the Luster Fjord and Feigum Waterfall, this waterfront inn is 30 minutes’ drive from Sogndal. It provides free WiFi and a surrounding garden with outdoor seating and a playground. Location, location, location! Knowledgeable and very nice staff. Room was comfortable with amazing view!

Dating back to 1640, this 9th generation family-run hotel is Norway’s oldest. The hotel is surrounded by a romantic garden in the idyllic village of Svolvorn. Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Everything. We stayed in one of the historical rooms. Loved the old style decor and furniture. The staff were nice. The breakfast was great.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. This was a separate house as part of the hotel complex. It has several rooms in it. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. The house has a yard where there is a table with four chairs, so you could sit outside and have a bite or a drink. The location is very nice, right downtown and close to the harbor, the main supermarket, the buses and the beach. The breakfast was very good, indeed. The staff was very friendly and they were able to make us really good hot chocolate upon request.

This hotel is 100 metres from Flåm Train Station and offers free WiFi and private parking. Rooms at Flåmsbrygga Hotel feature Norwegian pinewood panelling and tea/coffee facilities. Stayed two nights got room on top floor. There is an elevator in this hotel unlike what the other reviews say.

Situated in western Norway’s Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this waterfront hotel offers easy access to ferry boat fjord tours. Everything! Everything is perfect. The scenery omg, the bedroom is so cozy and have a nice design (I got the newly renovated room). It gave off cabin in the mountain living vibe. It feels secluded and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast has a very nice varieties and taste good. I'm in love with Norway and its nature.
