Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. I was staying in the Motel building, and everything was much better I expected. Nice room with everything needed, green grass with tables in front of the room and emerald lake just behind it. This place looks like heaven.

Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. Staying right next to a fjord was an incredible experience .Amazing breakfast cooked with love with a fantastic view in the morning. The place is peaceful. Highly recommend.

Dragsvik Fjordhotell is located along the Gaularfjellet National Tourist Route (National Scenic Routes) The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The location was wonderful. Even though it was 9 km away from Balestrand, it was easily accessible by bus. The meals were excellent, the rooms were very clean and the owners were very helpful.

The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Location was Great with the Boat ride nearby…..Souvenir shops and some nice Cafes n Expensive Restaurants. View from the hotel was Lovely. Great Surroundings stole my heart, I’m going to return. Kind Staff and Great Breakfast.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast provided, easy access to various viewpoints.

This hotel is 100 metres from Flåm Train Station and offers free WiFi and private parking. Rooms at Flåmsbrygga Hotel feature Norwegian pinewood panelling and tea/coffee facilities. Stayed two nights got room on top floor. There is an elevator in this hotel unlike what the other reviews say.

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. We stayed in a self-catering cottage next to the hotel . The cottage was well equipped, clean, and there was lots of space. We have a 3 week trip, and sometimes you want to eat your own choice of food. There was a supermarket nearby what was really nice.

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. Beautiful setting , beautiful old hotel with nice staff. The breakfast was above and beyond.
