Dragsvik Fjordhotell is located along the Gaularfjellet National Tourist Route (National Scenic Routes) The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The wonderful family who have owned this property for generations ~ first as a farm then gradually as a peaceful beautiful respite ~ an escape to the fresh air and quiet country life. We participated in ceremonies of their National Day ~ walking in a parade to church, singing at a school and senior's home. Our accommodation was so comfortable, meals delicious and presented beautifully.

Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. The hotel was right behind the Flåmsbana- just a short walk from the cruise to Gudvangen, the bus stop and the tourist information. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast & dinner buffet had many choices and everything was delicious- there was a selection of local cheeses as well.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. We stayed in a fisherman's hut, right on the water. It was gorgeous. We even got lucky and were able to see the northern lights over the fjord from our little porch. The restaurant and included breakfast were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is 100 metres from Flåm Train Station and offers free WiFi and private parking. Rooms at Flåmsbrygga Hotel feature Norwegian pinewood panelling and tea/coffee facilities. It is a beautiful hotel right at the heart of Flam. Everything is close by - the Visitor Center, the bus station, the Flamsbana and the museum. The staff were helpful and room was amazing with great views. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip in the Nordic region.

The Gudvangen Fjordtell offered an unparalleled experience during our recent visit to Norway, with its Viking Rooms providing the perfect blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the hotel's beautiful surroundings, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the region's natural beauty while staying in a room that transported us back in time. The proximity to the cruise/ferry terminal and Viking village added to our enjoyment, as did the nearby restaurants offering delicious food and the friendly staff who made our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. Although finding parking in the afternoon could be challenging due to the large public parking area, we were grateful for the early check-in option, which allowed us to start enjoying the hotel's amenities earlier than planned. Overall, we cannot recommend Gudvangen Fjordtell highly enough and will cherish our memories of this unforgettable stay in Norway!

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. This is by far by biggest surprise of the year. We had such a amazing time at this hotel. It has to be a must stop during your trip to Flam. The girl at the front desk is amazing, her recommendations are the best. Also after 10 days of traveling in Norway I had the best food at this place. Hands down one of my best moments of my trip.
