A beautiful historic hotel in a tranquil l setting next to a lac. Absolutely perfection itself. Nothing was a problem. I am lactose intolerant and they prepared different meals for me. The breakfast had so much choice even vegan cheese which was really lovely, and while I'm praising this hotel, I would just like to say they have the best coffee in Norway that I've tasted. Congratulations for treating their guests as friends. When we come back to Norway we certainly will go out of our way to stay there again. The location overlooking the lake is Paradise, with the nicest owners.

Restaurants, cafés and boutiques are found just around the corner along the pedestrian square. Location, style, cleanliness but most important, the exceptional staff. All of the people I came in contact with were kind, helpful, efficient and compassionate as I was dealing with my husband’s medical emergency at the hospital, the staff make me feel at home in a safe comfortable environment. The best service I’ve ever had.

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. All rooms have views towards the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. Everything. We stayed in one of the historical rooms. Loved the old style decor and furniture. The staff were nice. The breakfast was great.
