The hot tub with the view made it so memorable. And having morning breakfast with Mike’s delicious food and Wookie keeping us company made us feel at home. If you’re lucky enough to snag an apartment here book it!

Averill Court Motel offers spacious self-contained accommodation, only 150 metres from Paihia Beach. All rooms are built around a central pool area with spa pool, swimming pool and sun terrace. We had a family sized room with kitchen which was reasonably equipped. The kids liked the pool and the hot tub. Close enough to walk to grocery stores and to the beach.

The 19th-century Duke Hotel is located on the waterfront, overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. It features a guest lounge, restaurant and bar and garden bar, as well as a gymnasium. It was a lovely step back in time to a different era which was brilliant Location perfect to take in the town and I really enjoyed my stay
