Mike and Wookie were the perfect hosts with the perfect home! We were so lucky we had the chance to stay with them and only wish we had more time. The space is fabulous, well equipped and very clean. The hot tub with the view made it so memorable. And having morning breakfast with Mike’s delicious food and Wookie keeping us company made us feel at home. If you’re lucky enough to snag an apartment here book it!

So wonderful to wake to such an amazing panorama. Brita and Heinz are exemplary hosts and are very welcoming and friendly. The room, bed, bathroom and shower are of the highest standard and perfectly presented. Breakfast was magnificent and served on the deck with more of those stunning views of the Bay.

Surrounded by lovely gardens and situated on the waterfront, Hananui Lodge and Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a private balcony or patio and an LCD TV. Don’t have breakfast. Location very good.

Very clean and tidy, great spot if you want to just get away from city life. Stones throw from beach. Other family were around the corner in walking distance beach front property was great for the kids and safe. I went walking with my brother into Russell, the hill back took the wind out of us but was great got our steps up! The owners were easy to deal with very nice people.

Averill Court Motel offers spacious self-contained accommodation, only 150 metres from Paihia Beach. All rooms are built around a central pool area with spa pool, swimming pool and sun terrace. Very clean facilities and just 3 mins from the beach. Super helpful staff.

The 19th-century Duke Hotel is located on the waterfront, overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. It features a guest lounge, restaurant and bar and garden bar, as well as a gymnasium. Charming interior. Good cuisine. Amazing location.
