Jane was a fantastic host, the views from the house were wonderful, even with cloudy weather. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The house and garden are in great shape, and decorated and maintained with a lot care and love by Jane. We spent a wonderful evening there going through some of the books in the living room.

The unit we stayed was very clean & equipped with a private bathroom. We're from Malaysia and all the heating equipment in the room is purely life saver during winter! View and location? Perfect! Beach is just across the street - you'll sleep and wake up with a stunning view. Food? Perfect! Patrick prepared breakfast for his guests and we were served in his dining room, and you eat with another view :) Bread made by Patrick and cookies made by Mary-Clare are amazing too! Price is a bit on the high side, if we're visiting Kaikoura in the near future, we'll definitely go with this place again. It was nice meeting you, Patrick - and thanks for your hospitality!
