First off, Brin and Biddy were outstanding hosts. And the place was spacious and clean. The ocean front location made for a great view while relaxing in their spa. They loaned me a bike for a pleasant bike ride into Napier. Brin made reservations for us at a winery restaurant that was within easy walking distance. The food and wine were excellent. Definitely this stay was a highlight of our New Zealand trip.

It is 2 minutes' walk from the main street of Marine Parade and located opposite MTG Hawke’s Bay and The Art Deco Centre. Compact but well appointed. Clean and well decorated in keeping with the hotel as a whole.

Guests receive access to a restaurant, fitness centre and complimentary, unlimited WiFi. Really enjoyed our stay at The Crown Hotel. The room size was great and the location was excellent as it was close to many of the restaurants along the wharf. The fact that it was a 7-8 min drive from central Napier really did not matter at all.
