Surrounded by restaurants and cafes in Napier city centre, Motel de la Mer offers ocean-facing suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a balcony with ocean and city views. Everything! Super helpful and friendly staff. Room was excellent size, super clean and comfortable with views of the beachfront. Laundry room, great location!

This place was absolutely perfect! Very quaint but extremely well equipped room and bath. The owners were so pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in us and our travels in NZ. The unit was spotless and had all the little touches and amenities that you don’t always see in a hotel or other B&Bs. Only wish we had another day or 2 there! Maybe next trip?

Located on the waterfront with panoramic Pacific Ocean views, the Art Deco Masonic Hotel features free WiFi and historic Art Deco architecture. Guests enjoy 2 bars and 2 restaurants. It was so wonderful to stay somewhere with such a rich history. There are so many lovely historic touches like door plaques, light fittings, artwork, etc. The room was modern and had a great tea nook, a curtained baggage/wardrobe area and comfortable bed. I appreciated the guest laundry facilities, and loved relaxing on the balcony in the evening. All of the front desk attendants were so helpful. I also loved the bathtub in my room and surprisingly powerful hairdryer.

Overlooking the waterfront, The Crown Hotel offers stylish boutique accommodation in Ahuriri, just 5 minutes’ drive from Napier city centre. Really enjoyed our stay at The Crown Hotel. The room size was great and the location was excellent as it was close to many of the restaurants along the wharf. The fact that it was a 7-8 min drive from central Napier really did not matter at all.

Overlooking Hawke’s Bay, Beachfront Motel offers self-contained studios and apartments, each with a spa bath and full kitchen. Beautiful location excellent price room was so comfy and great amenities. The room was spacious and perfect for a small family. The beds were very comfortable.
