Can choose to cook inside the room’s kitchen if you bring food into the village, however, you can also choose to go to the bar and grill nearby.

Situated in Mount Cook National Park and offering beautiful mountain views, Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. Absolutely stunning location. Room was small but adequate as there were only 2 of us. Large shared kitchen/dining room for guests to use. Had all the appliances you would need and several fridges for guests to keep their food in. Visitors Centre was literally a minutes walk and The Hermitage hotel 2 minutes walk. Would highly recommend.

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. All the rooms and amenities available were great! We loved our stay!

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Awesome location, great property. We had a great BBQ on their little patio next to some sheep, it was lovely. Excellent value, highly recommend!

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. It’s close to the church and clean. The host is kind and gave us some advice on the trips.
