Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. Beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. Loved the spa and the natural pool. The bbq area was also really lovely. Our cottage was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay.

Mike and Wookie were the perfect hosts with the perfect home! We were so lucky we had the chance to stay with them and only wish we had more time. The space is fabulous, well equipped and very clean. The hot tub with the view made it so memorable. And having morning breakfast with Mike’s delicious food and Wookie keeping us company made us feel at home. If you’re lucky enough to snag an apartment here book it!

The place was spacious, clean and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, AC worked good, especially during these hot summer days. Be mindful that it is an open shower. Prime location was the main reason we booked this place. City centre, cafes, restaurants, locals selling watermelons and berries, ice cream place and many more, just around the corner from the motel.
