Great that we could have our dog with us, she played with their dogs. We'll equipped kitchen, comfy bed and v good shower. Perfect base for a couple of days pottering about on our bikes. Nice and private. Would be fantastic in summer with the fruit trees and gardens.

Featuring a beautiful garden setting, the Settlers Cottage Motel is a 5-minute walk from the historic town centre of Arrowtown and a 20-minute drive from Queenstown. This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Arrowtown. The room was large but cosy and warm, very clean, and with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful, and gave us really good suggestions for breakfast and dinner (at a very nice pub 5 minutes away). The motel is a wonderful turn-of-the-century building, and within a few minutes from the town centre. Close by is the river walk. Arrowrown is surrounded by mountains, and is really avery pretty place to visit, and stay overnight. Much quieter than Queenstown. We visited in September, and the price was really good.
