Offering a garden and mountain view, Ranfurly Cottage is located in Raetihi, 49 km from Mount Ruapehu and 35 km from Turoa. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 50 km from Taranaki Falls. So many thoughtful touches, a fantastic breakfast, cosy cottage with the fire on when we arrived. Under floor heating in the bathrooms. And amazing hosts! Truly loved our stay.

Ohakune
Tongariro Suites in Ohakune provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers ski storage space and full-day security. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared kitchen. Quiet and relaxing, breakfast setup was very convenient, seems to be tucked away from everything, but still close to town (~15 min drive) and not far from Tongariro Alpine crossing car park (~40 min drive). There are several common spaces available to guests such as the library, hot tub, sitting room and dining room.

Beautiful view of Mt Ruapehu! Really lovely 2 bedroom chalet. Very clean with a good size kitchen.

This was excellent for the cost. It is a 'backpacker' type accomodation but was clean, cosy, everythinng worked well, staff were very helpful. If you are on a budget you will be very pleased, if you just like to save you will be very happy here. If you want luxury look elsewhere. But clean comfortable quiet handy, this is great. We are mid 60's and could easily pay more but like to save and we liked it and would stay here again.

An excellent location right in the heart of Tongariro National Park, making it a great base to explore and go on walks. The views all around are stunning, and we enjoyed spending time in the cosy shared lounge and kitchen to take in some of these views. The garden spa is also very enjoyable and quite affordable to book for private use. We were happy with the facilities of the shared bathroom and laundry. We also appreciated having a sink in our room. The room and other spaces were also kept comfortably warm.

Lovely hosts, cozy, well designed and well appointed room. Great location for shuttle to Tongariro Alpine Crossing, about 15-20 minutes and very close to Foursquare supermarket and hike equipment rental centre. Overall very, very satisfied!

Gorgeous apartment and really well appointed. Lots of space for us all - everything we needed and great location. Bathrooms are particularly lovely, and with floor heating which would be great in the winter.

A gorgeous, boutique alpine experience. Daniel was really friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The cottage was warm, immaculate and smelled of cedar wood. The sheets were lovely quality. The breakfast was delicious. The optional extra alpine bath outdoors was well worth it after a day at the snow. Highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem.
