This bed and breakfast has a garden. Beautifully maintained B&B, with great attention to details. We appreciated the electric blanket, the breakfast bar in our room and the little table right outside the room surrounded by lavender, it was the best setting for breakfast in the garden. The property also has a pool and a jacuzzi and it's close to the beach.

Quest on Thorndon Apartments are located in the government district of Thorndon, just 2 minutes' walk from Sky Stadium and Central Station. It is one of the closest accommodation options from the Interisland Ferry Terminal, just 2 km away. I got lost because I couldn't use Wi-Fi. Also, the road was under construction, which made it difficult to find my way. There was a laundry in the room which was very helpful. I was happy that the drinks were plentiful.

The Gallery Lounge offers all day dining and drinks. Responsive and kind staff, well equipped room (in addition to full kitchen, there was a washer/DRYER combo), exceptional location just across the street from the Te Papa Museum, excellent food in the attached restaurant, the Gallery Lounge. The hotel decor is fresh, fun and interesting, welcoming and comfortable. A few days before our arrival, one of our group broke her hip and had emergency surgery. She was newly released from the hospital and we wanted to settle her into her room at the hotel upon the arrival of our morning ferry to Wellington. We messaged Museum Apartment Hotel and requested that she be given access to her room early and the staff was unfailingly gracious and kind in their immediate response and they arranged for our entire group to be checked into our rooms several hours early. Their kindness made a difficult situation much better.
