This bed and breakfast has a garden. cozy and calm, the small airport nearby is absolutely not disturbing (there was no problem during sleeping times). I would choose this accommodation again, strong recommendation. Did not test the pool, but seems well maintained as well.

Quest on Thorndon Apartments are located in the government district of Thorndon, just 2 minutes' walk from Sky Stadium and Central Station. It is one of the closest accommodation options from the Interisland Ferry Terminal, just 2 km away. Excellent room and facilities. We had spilt some milk and it was fantastic to use the washer and dryer for clothes that had been soaked in milk. The room was very quiet and the hotel was in comfortable walking distance of excellent restaurants on Wellington quayside. Staff were helpful and friendly. A great night's stay.

Featuring stunning views of Wellington’s beautiful harbour, Hippopotamus Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and high tea is served Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The Gallery Lounge offers all day dining and drinks. Great central location and within walking distance of the Cable Car Terminal, Te Papa Museum and a variety of restaurants in the area. The on site restaurant whilst a limited menu, had a good variety and from what I had, was decent. All throughout the hotel had attentive staff on hand.
