Nestled in a garden landscape, Shining Star offers self-contained beachfront chalets with free WiFi and a private balcony just steps from clear blue waters. Providing free parking and featuring beach access. Our accommodation was delightful - one half of a log cabin. The location was ideal, an easy walk into town and right across from the glow worm dell. Although the motel was right on the highway it was very quiet.

Greymouth and Hokitika are both within 25 minutes' drive away. We liked absolutely everything! The staff was very helpful, food was excellent and the room was equipped with all necessary items and even more! We would love to come back!
