Great place to stay! The bed was really comfortable, and our room had a spa bath, which was fantastic! Great air conditioning, comfy pillows, good sized towels, and right across the road from the local pub. The breakfast left in our room each night was great too. Toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal. More than enough. It was one of the nicer motels I've stayed in.

A restored miners' hotel, Theatre Royal is 2 minutes' drive from the historic Dillmanstown gold-mining town. It is 14 minutes' drive from Paroa. Greymouth and Hokitika are both within 25 minutes' drive away. This was by far the best hotel on our whole trip in New Zealand. A very unique and charming place with very friendly stuff. Also the breakfast was perfect. With no doubt we can recommend this hotel definitely, it is a place where you have to stay if you are in the area.

BeachView Motel is a 10-minute scenic drive from Greymouth. It is a 20-minute drive up the coastal highway to both Punakaiki Blowholes and Pancake Rocks. Hidden gem for a place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful beach view.

Opened in 2014 and offering 20 luxurious rooms with free WiFi, Franz Josef Oasis is just 10 minutes’ drive from the Franz Josef Glacier. Guests enjoy a spacious, covered outdoor terrace, perfect for taking in the lovely views of Westland National Park, the garden and mountains. The room was spacious and had a bath with jacuzzi jets which was a great add on! The staff were all very helpful and easy to communicate with.
