The room was light and airy. All of the decor was modern and bright colours. There was nothing extra that you could have needed. Bathroom was spotless and so modern.

Pleasantly surprised. The old hotel has been nicely renovated and is furnished with period pieces. It was like stepping back in time. I liked the way they named their rooms for old celebrities. Angela was an amazing host, exceeding expectations and always going the extra mile. She stayed late to make sure our check-in process was seamless and assisted with reservations for the Heli Ride and Quad Biking, as well as providing helpful dining recommendations.

Backing onto peaceful greenery, 10 Cottages offers self-contained cottages with a balcony, just 2 minutes' walk from the center of Franz Josef Glacier and a 3-minute walk from the Glacier Hot Pools. Great hotel, tucked in a quiet street but just a short walk to the main town. Very comfortable stay with all desired amenities. Could park the car right outside the door of the cottage.
