The location is unbeatable and the tasteful design combined with the absolutely excellent and attentive service my Mohsin make this small gem an ideal vantage point to hike in the area.

Nizwa is an incredible city and worth a visit. This hotel is excellently located - although there is no designated parking they did guide me to an off-street space they have which they let me park in. I had recently proposed and the staff went above and beyond to surprise my girlfriend with some romantic lights, rose petals and heart shaped towels. The owner is a talented water colour painter and we purchased one as a souvenir of Nizwa.

A lovely heritage house converted to a hotel with multiple rooms in the heart of Nizwa’s gorgeous old town. All staff were super hospitable and lovely. The standout person during our stay was Ibrahim - our wonderful tour guide who took us in a 4WD on a day trip to Jebel Akhdar (Green Mountain). He was knowledgeable, funny and super friendly. I highly recommend booking a trip and asking for him as your guide.

This is such a gorgeous place, beautiful building and rooms, lovely people who were so hospitable and friendly, clean comfortable room in an absolutely brilliant location. We only stayed one night in Nizwa and would love to come back and stay at the Al Dar Inn again. It was such an authentic experience. Everything is within a couple minutes walking distance. We actually didn't expect it to be as nice as it was so it exceeded our expectations.

The hotel design has a lovely character. Rooms are not the biggest but OK for a couple of nights. There is parking and you are based in the middle of the old town, very pretty around.

Very good rooms, large and spacious rooms, good WiFi, designer chairs and furniture , clean bathrooms and large windows.
