Extras include a desk and a safety deposit box. The service was impeccable. We arrived early but was still allowed to check in before the check in time. The location is about 5-10 minute drive from down town but that meant it was a great location away from the noise and hustle and bustle. The included breakfast was also top notched and not just your boring continental breakfast. You chose from crepes, chicharronnes, sandwiches, and omelets. The front desk personnel were amazing and helped us get taxies. Lastly, the rooms were extremely comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. The rooms had hot and warm water pressure, we'd totally go there again if we were staying in Arequipa.

It combines modern and colonial decor. Great location in the centre of Arequipa. Everything was on walking distance. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They have a hotel turtle in the garden named Lola. Fantastic to see a 45 year old walk around when you get out of your bed every morning :-). Good breakfast, they make you your eggs of choice in the morning.

Rooms at Hostal Solar de Arequipa are decorated in lively colours. They feature balconies and large windows, making them very bright during the whole daylight. Great location, nice room with a balcony and the roof terrace is a really big plus! Staff also friendly and helpful.
