Hotel Los Tambos Boutique is an elegant hotel in Arequipa, a city constructed entirely from white volcanic rock. It offers a rooftop terrace with views of Misti Volcano and adventure sports... I arrived in Arequipa on Monday afternoon (30 December 2024), and twisted my ankle 5 minutes into my Walking Tour. I did not get a chance to see any of Arequipa’s attractions or celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed indoors for 2 days to heal my swollen ankle. The team took care of me in the following ways: * Moved my luggage from my room on the 4th floor to Ground floor (because the lift was not working) * Gave me ice (for my swollen ankle) in the morning, afternoon and night every day from Monday until Thursday * Served breakfast in my room on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was so delicious!) * Helped me to call LATAM and Copa Airlines for me to change and confirm my flights (I was on hold for a long time on multiple attempts) * Advised me on which Tours to take (and arranged for Ruta del Sillar) and restaurants to go to based on my limited mobility My heartfelt appreciation to everyone who was on duty during my stay: Milagros, Fiorela, José, Lino, Enrique, Favian, Jhorly, Nadhia & Saly. They took good care of me and made me feel at home when I was traveling alone and so far away from home.

Located at the Plaza de Armas, across from the city’s historical Cathedral, Katari Hotel at Plaza de Armas offers accommodations with free WiFi access in Arequipa. The hotel is so beautiful in front of the Catedral! It has the best view at the plaza. The staff was the nicest people! The manager, Patricia, was so nice! The food was also so good!

Mint Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in Arequipa, only a 5-minute drive from the city main square. A daily a la carte breakfast is offered. The service was impeccable. We arrived early but was still allowed to check in before the check in time. The location is about 5-10 minute drive from down town but that meant it was a great location away from the noise and hustle and bustle. The included breakfast was also top notched and not just your boring continental breakfast. You chose from crepes, chicharronnes, sandwiches, and omelets. The front desk personnel were amazing and helped us get taxies. Lastly, the rooms were extremely comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. The rooms had hot and warm water pressure, we'd totally go there again if we were staying in Arequipa.

Located 300 metres from the main square and Mercaderes street and right behind the Monastery of Santa Catalina (built in 1579), Las Torres de Ugarte offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast in central... Perfect position to be able to walk into Arequipa. Super helpful staff. Spacious family room with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Set in a charming colonial-style building with Spanish galleries, Majestad Boutique Hotel offers nicely decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi just 1 block from picturesque La Merced church. Excellent staff and facility. The hotel is like an oasis in the inside; so serene and beautiful. They allowed us to check in super early since our bus arrived at 5am and helped us with tours and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and lots of space inside the hotel to hang out as well. Overall, an excellent value for Arequipa!

Boasting a wide range of spa services, access to thermal baths and 3 gourmet dining options, the resort offers garden views from every room, a 3 hour-drive from Arequipa. Private parking is free. This is a gorgeous resort nestled into the Colca Canyon, with its own spa and thermal baths. The service was friendly and professional, and rooms were well-designed and comfortable. The restaurant food was good overall, as was bar service. Great extra facilities, like an Alpaca farm and information centre with great educational material about condors and camelids. We'll be coming back for a longer stay to take advantage of the horse riding and hikes.

Set in a colonial style building with a garden and a terrace, Solar de Arequipa offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. It is located 200 metres from Santa Catalina Convent. The staff was really nice, we had a great stay and they kept our luggage for our 2 day colca canyon trip. The rooms were nice Really nice patio
