Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden. Quiet location close to Plaza de Armas, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. On a previous one night stay, I had posted about not being able to get change for taxi. The hotel approached me on my return stay to explain the reasons and to offer something in return. I appreciated the hotel’s efforts to explain and remedy, and although I did not take up the offer, it shows a very good attitude.

In Cusco´s San Blas art district, Amaru Inca is set in a colonial house with internal patio and garden, featuring scenic views. Great hotel, centrally in the city, but still very quiet. beautiful facility, good breakfast, very friendly staff.

Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. We liked everything about this hotel. The service and the breakfast deserve 5*. Rooms are good size and clean, bed and pillows are super comfortable. There is hot water always and it was warm enough. There is a heater in the rooms, but we didn’t need it.

Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco is a converted 17th-century mansion located in Cusco’s centre, a few steps away from Cusco Main Square and La Merced Church. Stayed here at very short notice after completing the 4 day Inca Trail. Couldn't ask for more! Comfy bedroom with large bathroom with bath and shower. Complimentary cocktails included. Just what we needed after 3 nights in a tent!! The staff were very accommodating too. Loved this hotel.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Kamma Guest House offers accommodation in Ollantaytambo, 42 km from Cusco. The location in the old part of town was lovely and within walking distance. The water flowing in the Incan aqueduct was soothing to us. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very nice.
