Yanque is beautiful- great walks, ruins and hot springs to soak away any soreness from hiking. This is a real gem of a place to stay. It is very professionally run and all the staff are lovely and really attentive and helpful. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and tranquil. The restaurant food is great, as was the breakfast. We had booked for 2 nights but stayed for 3. Thank you Miskiwasi.

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. Great stay at Killawasi, very comfortable and clean. Jose was always helpful. A lovely place to switch off for a few days.

Comfortable rooms with cosy rustic style-decor and mountain views are offered in Cabanaconde. An American breakfast is included and there is an on-site restaurant with a la carte dishes. Attention to all details by Edwin and his staff were the highlight of the place. Rooms were basic, but cozy and impeccably clean. Hot water and tea available all day long at the reception. Wifi good. Shower good. And the comforters on the bedding very warm. Hotel was a short block away from the central "Plaza de Armas" where there are a few stores and restaurants. And for us, most importantly, there was a car park which Edwin made available while we did our overnight hike to Sangalle. A+ service across the board.

Featuring a new indoor pool, a garden and an on-site bar, Tradicion Colca offers rural accommodation in Yanque, 7 km from Chivay. The staff was very helpful, and breakfast was very satisfying. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The observatory was a great plus. We could easily walk to the town of Yanque.
