Its location in the little Ollantaytambo train station! Walked 10 metres to board the train. The property has lovely character. The restaurant is excellent. The property’s reservations team works across both their properties, El Albergue and El Balcón in Cusco where we also stayed. They created an itinerary for us to visit Machu Picchu, including train and entrance tickets and transfers between Cusco and Ollantaytambo. All arrangements worked perfectly.

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley offers accommodation in the Living Inka City of Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and the gateway to the wonder of Machu Picchu. Exceptionally clean , hosts speak good English . The breakfast is not vast but perfect. They pack us breakfast to go as we left early for Machu Picchu which was very much appreciated . Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Amazing hotel with exceptionally kind owners. Lovely location, nice rooms, reasonably priced laundry service too.

We had amazing breakfast. The fan in the bathroom did not work, and the staff offered us other rooms to compensate. And we highly recommend this hotel.
