The historical charm was wonderful. The hotel restaurant was exceptional. And breakfast was fabulous. We stayed in the modern building and the room with twin beds was spacious and well designed. This hotel should be 4 stars - it’s under valued!

The breakfast area combined charm with French Cafe music. The boutique four-star Hotel 1231 is located in the Old Town right next to the Ruins of the Teutonic Castle, a major Torun attraction. Absolutely wonderful hotel! Great room, super staff, and a very nice restaurant.

Beautiful room with a lot of history, wonderfully told in the paperwork left by the owner. Fantastic location on the rynek.
