Perfect location - 10-15 minutes walk from old town which is crowded and loud, at the same time stay in quite safe district. The tram is passing by but we did not use it at all. 10 min walk till the central railway station for Sopot etc visits . Fantastic delicious breakfast. Much much better than in 4 star hotels and some 5 stars also. Very clean room, its new, modern, comfy bed, bright bathroom with big window. Elevator is also + Cross the street from the hotel - Asian restaurant is located , it offers so tasty meals from different kitchen of Asia. Good pricing and very polite service. Warmly recommend for a lunch and dinner. Much better than in old town. For sure would come back to the hotel again visiting Gdansk.

Grand Tulipan is situated in the centre of Gdynia, in the high-class residential area, 1.3 km from the harbour and 300 metres from a vantage point on the Gdańsk Bay. The neighborhood is very beautiful and quiet. The hotel has beautiful balconies and a lovely garden. There is a huge park a few steps away, and my bedroom had great views with tree huge windows receiving sun all afternoon; something i loved because the weather was cold and i love the sun.. It was a very clean room. Bed was comfortable. Hot water was great. Huge TV. Toiletries, water. The staff was very nice in providing me whatever I needed. My room was small, perfect for someone petit, I really enjoyed my stay there. I have an advice, don't try to walk from the train station to the hotel, it is a very short distance crossing the park which means 130 very steep steps up, not good when carrying luggage. After you leave your luggage, enjoy crossing and walking in the beautiful park. There are stores with all you need very close and it is really easy to reach the main streets, crossing the park (without luggage). Don't forget to check the hotel messages because they may change the entry door password during your stay. They will send you a message with the change.
