This property is located in the country side on a 5-minute drive out of Évora, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and the famed Roman Temple. Lovely setting, vèry comfortable and relaxing and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and both slept well.

Set in a refurbished traditional Alentejo house is 3 km from Évora. Accommodations at Governador are bright and come with views of the surrounding country landscape. Some units have a four-poster bed.... We had a wonderful time at casa do governador. It is a hidden paradise!

A beautiful little cottage tucked away in the medieval village of Marvao. There's a castle right next door and the village itself is fun to wander around in. The owner of the hotel was friendly and gracious, and the room was perfect. It felt like I was staying in a distant relative's home and not a hotel. Also, the breakfast was incredible. Definitely sign up for breakfast.
