Located within the walls of the Marvão Castle, at the top of the high village of Marvão, Dom Dinis Marvão features a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi® and panoramic views of the countryside below. Staff very pleasant. Looked after us very well indeed. Were upgraded on arrival. Hot-tub a boon. Fantastic panoramic view from balcony. Lovely continental breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. The hotel is a perfect location for exploring the upper part of the Alentejo region, whether for one night or ideally for several. The setting is spectacular and the hotel facilities do not disappoint. We stayed in one of the suites in the annex, which sounds like a lesser location but was excellent. Dinner in the restaurant is definitely worth booking - we had garlic prawns, garoupa, rack of lamb and a home made sweet plus some local wine. All of them were excellent, as was the service from Fernando. Check-in and checkout were easy and José on reception on both occasions was very professional and friendly, with some great advice on local wineries to visit together with some wider information on the Alentejo region. He was a great advocate for the hotel and the region as a whole. 🙌🙌🙌

This property is located in the country side on a 5-minute drive out of Évora, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and the famed Roman Temple. Great Breakfast (optional) some friendly lazy dogs, donkeys in the fields great pool and lounge area. beautiful landscape with trees and rolling hills. Excellent restaurants in Evora about 10 mins away.

Located within a 10-minute drive from Beja Airport, the Monte da Diabroria – Agroturismo is a tranquil property in the Alentejo. everything was great, they were super nice. the room was clean, equipped with everything you need. the team was amazing by provide us gluten free breakfast and be sensitive about it. we will definitely come back!

Set in a refurbished traditional Alentejo house is 3 km from Évora. Accommodations at Governador are bright and come with views of the surrounding country landscape. Some units have a four-poster bed.... We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had many areas to hang out and have a glass of wine. The rooms were very cozy and clean. Overall, a great stay!!

Just 2km from Monsaraz Castle, Monte Alerta is surrounded by a meditation garden, organic orchard and next to the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Alqueva. Very nice owner, great breakfast, pool and comfortable room
