Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. Def highlight was the staff: one of the best! From the reception to cleaning personal, they all made sure that we have a great experience. First day, lady at the reception printed out an itinerary for the festival and brought it to our room, which we even have asked for! Once I mentioned that it was my boyfriends birthday week, reception and cleaning personal prepared the best surprise. On the last day, we needed a taxi at 5am and asked for reception to help us arrange it: then when they realized we are leaving really early they tried to arrange a breakfast for us. Once my boyfriend said its not needed, gentleman at the reception asked if he should arrange a lunch box. These people love their job and make sure that guests have a great experience, I really hope hotel management values them and treats them as they deserve because they are the 5th star to this hotel 🥰

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. absolutely stunning gardens, gracious and welcoming staff, and the facilities were amazing.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Location- right on a cliff overlooking a beautiful black sand beach. Perfect! Rooms, spacious with a private hot tub that was quite relaxing. Breakfast- just the right amount of local products with the included option of made to order eggs and other quality items. Very well prepared!

Located in the city of Ponta Delgada, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites offers a prime location by the sea. Forno da Cal Beach is a 5-minute walk. It is a very beautiful and nice place. The check in was very warm and friendly. We really like this place!

Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. We stayed in one the villas. It was extremely private and there was so much attention to detail. The gardens are lovely. The outdoor shower was my favorite.

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... Room was big, clean and convenient, was cleaned every day. We found there such things as bathrobe and slippers that can be found not in every hotel.

The Azorean Urban Lodge is a refurbished one-hundred-year-old building featuring a magical terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. The place was really great, room was spacious and very clean

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combines a natural setting with history, art, and sea views. Wow, what a special place Pico do Refugio is. First of all, the property is absolutely gorgeous. Anna welcomed our family and was full of recommendations and explained the history behind the Refugio. The location was excellent, out of the busy Ponta Delgada, but still close enough to easily explore all around Sao Miguel. The loft we stayed in was spacious, airy, and comfortable. Each morning, the breakfasts delivered was amazing and filling. Even though the houses were all full, it was very quiet and peaceful. The common area had great coffee and treats and interesting art and products from local artists. We didn't want to leave.
