Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. The staff was lovely, we felt very welcomed, they also helped us with taxis to go around the island and advised us for restaurants. The room was clean and the ocean view stunning, the breakfast was continental, various things to eat and the food was good quality. We will definitely come back for our next visit. The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Beautiful place in the most magical part of the island. The staff were really great. The pools are fantastic.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

Filipe the host was amazing!! So helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

Located in the city of Ponta Delgada, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites offers a prime location by the sea. Forno da Cal Beach is a 5-minute walk. My stay was excellent! The rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff provided outstanding service — a special thanks to Jessica and Susana for being so kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with great variety and delicious options. Highly recommended!

Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. It was a wonderful stay, I would like to come back and meet again the owners :-)

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... Nice breakfast. Lovely room adapted to reduced mobility guests.

The Azorean Urban Lodge is a refurbished one-hundred-year-old building featuring a magical terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.
