Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

Amazing hosts with the personal approach, incredibly welcoming and helpful. Great location , stunning interior design, wonderful breakfasts. Everything was top notch!

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food was delicious and the pool was the best part! Definitely coming again.

In the heart of Ponta Delgada, this hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains and the city. The marina can be found 500 metres away. Everything was perfect, the room was clean, the brekfast was delicious, the location is great, the staff was very friendly and ready to help. Great value for the money.

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... Room was big, clean and convenient, was cleaned every day. We found there such things as bathrobe and slippers that can be found not in every hotel.

The Azorean Urban Lodge is a refurbished one-hundred-year-old building featuring a magical terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.
