Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. We had a phenomenal experience here! Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet which was included in our stay was amazing! Rooms (and the property as a whole) were really nice, clean and quite large. We had four people and didn't feel cramped at all. Plenty of space for all of our stuff. Good parking outside. Easy walking place to the nearest town and some smaller beaches. Nice pool with chairs, jacuzzi and gym. It was also super close to the airport and since we had to leave quite early to make our flight, this was super helpful.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Location- right on a cliff overlooking a beautiful black sand beach. Perfect! Rooms, spacious with a private hot tub that was quite relaxing. Breakfast- just the right amount of local products with the included option of made to order eggs and other quality items. Very well prepared!

Right next to Sete Cidades Lagoon, in the São Miguel Island of Azores, the Sete Cidades Lake Lodge features wooden bungalows with a unique architecture. Free WiFi access is available. Filipe the host was amazing!! So helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

Located in the city of Ponta Delgada, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites offers a prime location by the sea. Forno da Cal Beach is a 5-minute walk. We loved our stay here! The accommodations are beautiful and spacious, and it's in a great location to explore the rest of the island. We had an ocean view and there is free parking nearby. The breakfast is the best as well as the staff!

Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. We stayed 3 nights and absolutely adored the place. Fantastically located and so close to nature, this place seems part of nature itself. Hosts were amazing and made our Pico experience very special. I’m positive we’ll be back next year

In the heart of Ponta Delgada, this hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains and the city. The marina can be found 500 metres away. We loved this place! The best part about this hotel is the staff - all of them were kind, helpful and truly made this stay special. The breakfast is good and has a rich bread section. The location of the hotel is excellent to explore Ponta Delgada. Rooms are clean and cozy.

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... The hotel was well maintained and clean, the staff extremely friendly and understanding. In particular we had some very personal touches: early check-in (we were exhausted from a very early morning flight), complimentary breakfast, and a birthday cake delivered to the room (they had noticed at check-in that it was my daughter's birthday).

The Azorean Urban Lodge is a refurbished one-hundred-year-old building featuring a magical terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.
