The traditional Portuguese restaurant offers panoramic views of the Monastery. Very comfortable hotel, big surprise in such a small village. View from our window was exactly as presented - just to the Batalha monastery. Hotel is perfectly clean, rooms spacious and very well maintained. Restaurant excellent. Extremely recommendable!

It is located on the slopes of Esperança Mountains. This pousada is ideal for those who love stunning views, nature and birdwatching. We saw nightjar, booted eagles and hoopoes here. The facilties are lovely, with plenty of gorgeous rooms to sit and relax in. You get a real sense of history. Breakfast is copious, including mini pasteis de nata, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoesand mushrooms. Friendly helpful staff.
