Quinta das Lágrimas has a golf driving range and a 9-hole course. Although we didn't make a reservation, they arranged for us to have dinner on the day, and we were able to enjoy a very stylish and delicious meal.

The experience was great! It was our first time in Coimbra (2 hour drive from Braga) and we weren't sure where a "perfect" location would be but Vila Gale turned out to be perfect. Just a mere 8-10 min pleasant walk to downtown and quick 4 min drive to the Coimbra Forum (shopping center) and the famous Portugal dos Pequenitos (not to be missed!). We got a family suite and it was quite large and clean. Breakfast buffet was quite varied and well stocked. We also got lunch from the bar and ate poolside. Pool was amazing - even though a bit chilly - but to be expected mid-April. Would definitely stay again.
