This property is extremely well located on the hillside above the river and about halfway up to the level of the upper old town. It is such a convenient place and also well equipped. Also, host Carlos was ever so helpful. In fact I must say that the town of Coimbra was notable for such friendly, helpful people everywhere. Among the places I particularly enjoyed was the craft beer pub on the opposite side of the river.

Choice of different coffee brews plus hot chocolate. Rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds. Free parking is available on nearby streets, no problem finding space! Hotel Botanico de Coimbra is located in Coimbra, just 200 metres from Coimbra University and its Botanical Gardens. The unit is a 10-minute walk from the city’s historical centre and República Square.... Hotel location is very good, Coimbra University and Botanical garden are just a short walk away. Hotel is good and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and also provided us with the baby crib. In the morning, a good breakfast was served that had enough options to choose from.

Located in the Barragem da Aguiera, Quinta da Conchada offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and furnished balconies. Its outdoor pool is surrounded by sun-loungers. Almost everything about this place was amazing. A great restaurant with reasonable pricing was a surprise. The room overlooked the river and views from your private balcony were fantastic out in the country and very relaxing. The spa was generally good with a few signs of wear and tear

Hotel Domus offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk, just 80 metres from Coimbra-A Railway Station. It takes a 10-minute walk to the Old Cathedral of Coimbra. This was the best hotel of my vacation! Location perfect a few step from Coimbra station (not Coimbra-B station) Quiet little side street. A short way to the downtown area of Coimbra. Clean room and spacious bathroom. Frendly staff. Breakfast served to the table was a nice surprise. I could come again anytime.
