An amazing host Ismael. We were in touch prior to arrival and were given precise directions. Ismael kindly provided us with parking (paid but well worth it), took.us and our luggage with his car to the door of the flat. The flat was great, clean, comfy and with an amazing view and balcony! Ismael also made the time to explain about Coimbra and main attractions. I have never met such a friendly and caring host in all my numerous trips! The visit was exceptional. Would come again and stay longer ;)

Hotel Botanico de Coimbra is located in Coimbra, just 200 metres from Coimbra University and its Botanical Gardens. The unit is a 10-minute walk from the city’s historical centre and República Square.... This is one of the best hotels ever. Anytime I am in Coimbra, I choose this little pearl, just opposite the Botanical Garden. You cannot top the location, cleanliness and how friendly the ladies are.

Located in the Barragem da Aguiera, Quinta da Conchada offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and furnished balconies. Its outdoor pool is surrounded by sun-loungers. Located right on the river. Our view from the room was perfect catching the sunset behind the hills.

Hotel Domus offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk, just 80 metres from Coimbra-A Railway Station. It takes a 10-minute walk to the Old Cathedral of Coimbra. This was the second time in a little over a year that I had stayed at Hotel Domus (for about five nights on each occasion). The couple who run the hotel and their staff are exceptionally warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The place is immaculate. I always feel very much at home here. The hotel is also very conveniently located and is within walking distance of attractions, restaurants, and shopping. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Coimbra.
