Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. The setting was peaceful in the rural countryside with colorful wild flowers and the trees. The dinner was a great value and the chef was very talented. Breakfast was equally as nice. The guestroom was a nice size with a private outdoor set up.

Herdade Do Touril is situated on the Vicentine Coast, within the Natural Park of south-east Alentejo. My husband and I stayed here after a long motorcycle route through Portugal. It was our last stop and it was a delight to be somewhere tranquil, swim in the heated pool and have a lovely dinner without having to hop on the bike to get into town. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was also great. We will definitely back.

Located in Troia, this 5-star hotel has a unique design and faces the Sado River Estuary. It features a casino, a spa and 2 outdoor swimming pools. Another fantastic stay at Troia design hotel. My family and I have stayed here more than 12 times during the last 8 years. Fabulous hotel, impossible to repeat. The best in Setúbal/Tróia area.

Located in São Teotónio, Pé no Monte is a modern country house that offers a peaceful stay in Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast. Very peaceful and distant enough from the city to get a starry sky at night. It includes 2 pools and a restaurant, game room, bicycles, common room, pool service, snacks, parking... the service and staff are very friendly, provided everything we needed. It was more than we expected.

Rio NaturAL is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes. The property is located 200 metres from Sao Clemente Fort, 400 metres from Foz do Rio Mira and less than 1 km from Praia das Furnas. We had a very good experience. The staff waited for us when we had a late check in and were very keen to help us find parking. Really appreciated that they were dog friendly. We had a little balcony which was also cozy. More importantly everything was nice and clean.

The Mil Reis offers modern accommodation, with minimalist décor in the centre of Vila Nova de Milfontes, in the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Very nice rooftop! Good breakfast, everything good, absolutely recommended

This secluded eco-lodge in the Alentejo region boasts an infinity pool with River Mira views. An infra-red mosaic sauna and therapeutic massages are the highlights of its wellness centre. A rural stay 8 minutes from the beach. It was the most relaxing time of our stay in the southern region of Portugal. A true gem!
