The location in V.N. de Milfontes is pretty perfect, right in the center of the original town, very close to the river Mira and the fortress/castle, but away from the main drag. We made use of the guest kitchen and living room upstairs on a few cool evenings to play cards and sip some excellent Alentejo red wine. Gorgeous wild beaches to explore each day along with sections of the Fisherman‘s Trail. A perfect place to experience Portugal!

Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. I can’t where to start to describe how much we like this place. We plan to bring our whole family here to experience it.

Herdade Do Touril is situated on the Vicentine Coast, within the Natural Park of south-east Alentejo. the service, the kindness of the staff. They were very attentive and always anticipated my needs. An excellent team, very well managed. Really a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

Located in Troia, this 5-star hotel has a unique design and faces the Sado River Estuary. It features a casino, a spa and 2 outdoor swimming pools. The staff, breakfast, spa, and pool facilities were very good.

Located in downtown Sines, AP Sines Costa Alentejana Hotel, offers brand new rooms, some with panoramic sea views. Continental breakfast is included. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to cafes and to the beach. The room was large and comfortable and the air conditioning and heat was easy to use and efficient. The room was clean and it was nice to have a large window that opened for fresh air. There are two pools that are nice and a sauna that we really enjoyed. A swim cap is required but they do sell them at the pool. Please know that this policy is normal for Portugal. The property offers a very nice breakfast buffet and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. We felt like we were treated like honored guests.

Set in Zambujeira do Mar, 900 metres from Sudoeste TMN, Monte Soalheiro boasts an outdoor pool and views of the canal. Love it!! The best hotel we stayed in Portugal, you can really disconnect and enjoy the silence of the nature in here!

Located in São Teotónio, Pé no Monte is a modern country house that offers a peaceful stay in Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast. Very peaceful and distant enough from the city to get a starry sky at night. It includes 2 pools and a restaurant, game room, bicycles, common room, pool service, snacks, parking... the service and staff are very friendly, provided everything we needed. It was more than we expected.

Rio NaturAL is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes. The property is located 200 metres from Sao Clemente Fort, 400 metres from Foz do Rio Mira and less than 1 km from Praia das Furnas. We loved the room. The silence was amazing. We didn’t hear a thing in the room. The patio is beautiful. The bed was super comfy and we had the most amazing night of sleep. Very well located.

The Mil Reis offers modern accommodation, with minimalist décor in the centre of Vila Nova de Milfontes, in the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Amazing place to stay! Recommended!

This secluded eco-lodge in the Alentejo region boasts an infinity pool with River Mira views. An infra-red mosaic sauna and therapeutic massages are the highlights of its wellness centre. A rural stay 8 minutes from the beach. It was the most relaxing time of our stay in the southern region of Portugal. A true gem!
