Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. The location was amazing. The relaxed atmosphere and staff who were on hand but also gave you space to enjoy the peace of the beautiful place. It was fabulous!

Casas Do Moinho is ideally situated in a natural park, close to several beaches. It offers 5-star accommodation with free WiFi and includes an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views. It was comfortable and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The dinner was a highlight and the the chef and waiter were exceptional. One of the best meals of our whole 8 week trip!

Herdade Do Touril is situated on the Vicentine Coast, within the Natural Park of south-east Alentejo. My husband and I stayed here after a long motorcycle route through Portugal. It was our last stop and it was a delight to be somewhere tranquil, swim in the heated pool and have a lovely dinner without having to hop on the bike to get into town. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was also great. We will definitely back.

Overlooking Mareta Beach, this modern boutique hotel in the heart of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park offers a tropical palm garden with a sundeck and hot tub. Great location. Easy walk to the mains bars and restaurants. We had an ocean view room which was excellent, and the balcony was massive. Loved that the check out was 12 noon. Gave us time to relax after breakfast and enjoy the view. Breakfast was splendid. Nice trails directly from the hotel to the headland. Some lovely places to sit out in the garden.
