The beds were extremely comfortable - both my sister and I had the best night sleep we've had in ages. The room was clean and quiet, with blackout curtains for sleeping and good wifi ... it had everything we could need or want. The robes and complimentary port were very nice touches. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying for both of us (one of us is a vegetarian, the other is not). The property itself is gorgeous. It happened to be a little too cold out to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and recommended some beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants for us to check out. Next time I'm back in this area I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.

Situated in Aljezur within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, this hotel offers self-catering villas with private terraces, hammocks, and views of the sea and countryside. Great hotel, the rooms are excellent, the pool is perfect, sits on the view. A family place, gives a feeling of home and helps with every request. We really enjoyed being there. Highly recommended.

Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. The setting was peaceful in the rural countryside with colorful wild flowers and the trees. The dinner was a great value and the chef was very talented. Breakfast was equally as nice. The guestroom was a nice size with a private outdoor set up.

Herdade Do Touril is situated on the Vicentine Coast, within the Natural Park of south-east Alentejo. My husband and I stayed here after a long motorcycle route through Portugal. It was our last stop and it was a delight to be somewhere tranquil, swim in the heated pool and have a lovely dinner without having to hop on the bike to get into town. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was also great. We will definitely back.

Staff at front desk and kitchen were excellent. Service when we had a request. Friendly and helpful. We look forward to talking with them again.

The location is unbelievably beautiful. Outstanding service in the restaurant and at the reception. The manageress who checked us in and out was very accommodating and helpful. Good first impression always sets the tone for the entire stay. Although the property itself is four star, the quality of the food and service was pushing five star. Our room was spacious with tasteful contemporary interior design. The small kitchenette was a nice addition to the room.

Overlooking Mareta Beach, this modern boutique hotel in the heart of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park offers a tropical palm garden with a sundeck and hot tub. Just a short walk to the beach. Spectacular views of the beach from the terrace. Breakfast was lovely.
