Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

Hotel do Mercado features elegant and colourful rooms in central Aveiro. The property is just 250 metres from the Fórum Aveiro shopping centre and 190 metres from the riverside. Amazing two star hotel in the center of the city of Aveiro. The room was impeccably clean with a very light and good fragrance. It was a small but incredibly cosy room with all the amenities fully functional. The staff was super nice and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was marvelous with pancakes, croissants, bread, fruit and plenty of good stuff. I would definitely come back!

Welcome In is located a short walk from the heart of Aveiro. With modern rooms and a historical façade, the hostel features an interior terrace and a bar. Very nice hotel! Great location as it is a 15-minute walk to the bus station but centrally located! Friendly and professional staff. I wasn't too happy with the bed but not because it was uncomfortable but because I always have back problems if it's not my own. One piece of advice I would give is to also provide low pillows. Otherwise, everything was great!
