What a superb stay, place, team etc. The hosts were delightful. The Senhora was so accomadating, their granddaughter Matilde was just the best host and guide. Nothing was impossible or difficult. The farm was well kept, the farmhands were engaging and happy to answer all questions. The breakfast was legendary and seemingly endless. The pool area was clean, perfect after a hot day hiking and the room was spacious, cool and well designed. It really was a lovely base for a few days.

Everything about this place is just gorgeous. Beautiful design finished to a very high standard. Friendly welcoming staff. Wonderful roof top pool, comfy bed, lovely living room with coffee… it all felt very chilled and perfect. The breakfast was sooooo delicious and I was really well catered for as a vegetarian. We had dinner in the restaurant and again, amazing food and warm, welcoming staff. This really is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. A little more expensive than some but so so worth it. We’ll be back.

This hotel is stunning! Everything about it is pure luxury. Decked out in marble, the rooms and facilities are incredible. The owner owns a marble quarry, so the design of the hotel is fully fitted out in marble. It is rare and world class. The daily breakfast was impeccable and the servers were so kind and spoke in French, English and Portuguese. The staff went over and above and we booked in a wine tasting with the chef of the restaurant and it was amazing!!

The grounds were very clean and staff was friendly and professional. The parking arrangement was excellent. The interior design was very nice, the lighting was very attractive and created a warm feel and relaxing mood. The breakfast was very nice, it was nice to have fresh omelets. The room was fantastic, lovely interior, very nice washroom and amazing shower. The housekeeper kept the room tidy, organized and stocked with nice towels and toiletries. The location in the town was very convenient.
