Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

She gave us good recommendations of activities and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits and homemade bread. The wine tasting hosted by Luis was memorable. Unlike any typical tour, it was more of a personal storytelling experience, where Luis shared his own passion and knowledge .
