Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. It was all in the details: the most wonderful stay. My only regret is not staying longer.

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Staff very friendly. Location is amazing on the River. Food was really good

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The location and views are incredible. Very spacious, beautiful rooms. Miguel and his family are the best hosts, made us feel like home. Can’t forget to mention - THE DINNERS were such a wholesome experience. Sharing the table with other guests, eating delicious homemade food and drinking their wines were the cherry on top of the cake. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The warm welcome set the tone right away — the owner and the entire team were not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome. The property itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even the sweet resident dog, Becas, added to the charm. We were surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was fantastic: spacious, beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped. The food deserves a special mention — every meal we had was outstanding, fresh and full of flavor. The dining experience felt both personal and refined without being pretentious. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion go into the kitchen here. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Quinta do Bosque to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

Charming vineyard with beautiful scenery by Douro-river. Very attentive and friendly staff and two amazing dogs. Be sure to include port tasting - it was fantastic to walk the wine fields, see the winery and hear about the production. We will definitely be back sometime!

The villa is super beautiful and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. They helped us reserve all the restaurants and activities. Maria is the best.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. What’s not to like. A little piece of heaven . The wine tasting was amazing and Kay personally moved around to ensure we got to learn about the property and its exclusivity .
