Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Best experience I had staying in a hotel, I can't wait to come back. Everything was perfect and the hotel itself is so beautiful. The room was very spacious, comfortable, they even offer you a pillow menu so you can be as comfortable as possible. Every night they leave a tea table ready for you. The food is really good and we enjoyed every minute!

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Was able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel is in the most splendid position on the river with fantastic views. Service was excellent, friendly professional staff, very helpful. Restaurant was lovely.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Great location on working vineyard with stunning views of the Douro river. Miguel and his family are exceptional hosts. Dinner was delicious. Highly recommend
