Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. The location and views from the hotel are amazing. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! Offering a restaurant, Quinta de Marrocos is located in Peso da Régua. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a balcony. I would like to especially mention excellent breakfast and perfect staff, Cesar, Ana and Sara were absolutely kind and helpful. Views from terrace with their great wines were spectacular.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. This is my second time staying at Quinta do Tedo... it's wonderful in every sense. You can't go wrong staying here! Wine tasting and a tour is included in your stay. It's got a lovely view from the pool, kayaks, bikes, and a tasty restaurant on site. The breakfast is delicious and it has nice views over the river! It's a small place you're going to love to tell your friends and family about back home. With only a handful of rooms, you feel super special staying here as well.
