Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Amazing views, great location, friendly, helpful staff. We had to check out early on our last day and staff had a to go breakfast ready for us. Close to the village, which was beautiful and a great place for dinner and sunset. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The staff was Excellent. They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

The outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of sunsets or leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun. Guests can also eat outdoors by the pool. Brilliant hotel, absolutely amazing staff, fantastic restaurant with a top class evening menu and fantastic breakfast (fresh orange juice) an incredible selection. A welcome basket in our room and a bottle of bubbles with a hand written welcome note 🙌🏼 Right next to the airport but so quiet and relaxing The salt water sea pool was incredible we loved it and will definitely be back

Fantastic view on the ocean (room 112), one of the best we have ever seen. Very hospitable personnel , rooms were clean, cool natural swimming pools.

Apartments feature a living area with a kitchenette. I had a pleasant stay at Golden Residence Hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the food was tasty with a good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel offers great views of the surrounding area, and I enjoyed relaxing by the small but cozy pool. Overall, the facilities and services were good, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in Madeira.
