Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. We had an excellent stay at the apartment – everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to each day.

Offering an outdoor pool and spa centre, Castanheiro Boutique Hotel is set in Funchal, 500 metres from Marina do Funchal. Great hotel with super nice staff. We really enjoyed the spa and they even surprised me with a birthday surprise 😍 Parking was available nearby. They even prepared breakfast boxes for us as we had to check out before breakfast time.

It was very clean and organized, and every person from staff was extremly kind and ready to help. We really liked the fact that the entire property only has 20 rooms, which makes it really intimate and cozy - we often went to the pool or jacuzzi and we were by ourselves. We were there for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it!

Hotel is very beautiful, we had a Ocean View room , I liked everything and thank you so much for the complimentary service like chocolates and champagne . You need to try the menu from restaurant so delicious 🤤

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools and access to the sea. We went to The Brothers restaurant our first night and it was excellent food. The front desk staff booked two tours for us. They were equally accommodating for us getting to know where everything was on our fist couple of days. The breakfast was predictable but so well done every day. What a wonderful place to stay.
