El Hotel da Oliveira se encuentra en el centro histórico de Guimarães, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Habitaciones, desayunos, personal y ubicación excelentes. Recomendados 10/10

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. All the staff has been super helpful! We had a wonderful stay there. The balcony and the garden were so beautiful and from the balcony you can see a great view of Guimarães when the weather is nice 😊👍! Also, the breakfast was delicious!

El Tea 4 Nine Guest House se encuentra en Braga y sirve el almuerzo en los apartamentos. Este alojamiento independiente cuenta con conexión WiFi gratuita. Super clean apartment on the first floor with needed kitchen equipment for make a light meal. The apartment is all white, which makes it easy to see that the apartment is very clean. There are bathrobes and slippers for when one gets back “home”, and dishwasher for cleaning the dishes so one does not need to hand wash. The bed and pillows are on the firm side (perfect for me). There is a small convenience/supermarket just a few steps away, and a larger one (Pingo Doce) about 5 min walk away (I am a speed walker FYI). The bus terminal is 5 min away (Google map says 7 min). All the “tourist sites” are near the apartment. Train station is about a 10 min walk (Google map says 13-15 min). Can’t comment on parking as I didn’t drive, but I saw parking sign near the square where the apartment is located. Margarida provides breakfast for the entire stay, so please let her know if there is any dietary restriction. I didn’t as I didn’t expect it to be a “complete” continental breakfast (bread, prosciutto, cheese, milk, fruit juice, fruit, water, soda and even a bottle of vino verde!). I am gluten/sodium/sugar free due to health issues, so it isn’t easy for me when I travel, but for future visits I would definitely let Margarida know about my dietary restrictions. Overall I really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again when I am back to Braga!

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. Staff exceptional. Really good breakfast

La Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira ocupa una casa unifamiliar del siglo XIX, situada en una calle peatonal del centro de Viana do Castelo. I had no idea what I was booking when I had to find a hotel for one night lastminute while in Viana do Castelo. Had I known what a gem this place was, I would have stayed here for the full time that I was in town. It was beautiful, historic, and run by a team that you can tell really, really cares about hospitality. Everyone I met was lovely. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious, the breakfast was perfect, and the gardens were a lovely treat. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to soak in the spirit of this place. If I have the luck of passing by Viana do Castelo again, this is where I will stay.

Este establecimiento se encuentra en el casco antiguo de Ponte de Lima y ofrece cocina compartida, salón de uso común y habitaciones de decoración individual con baño moderno. Fantastic! Perfect location. Comfortable bed and room. Great shower. Helpful staff. When I asked for a really early breakfast, they offered to make me a bag lunch instead. It worked great for a day on the Camino.

Este lujoso hotel ocupa un antiguo monasterio cisterciense del siglo XII situado entre la ciudad de Braga y las montañas de Gerês. Cuenta con piscina al aire libre y pista de tenis. Impresionante monasterio antiguo. Reciclado todo nuevo, pero manteniendo su estructura histórica. Es un alojamiento realmente impresionante y especial. Apto para todas las edades. Habitaciones muy cómodas. La comida increíble. El desayuno es buffet muy completo. La cena reservamos, y fue espectacular. La cobran aparte. Jardín enorme lleno de plantas, parras y frutales, que parecen ser de la época de los monjes. Piscina enorme y lindisima. Estanque con peces. Y muchos rincones para explorar. Gran experiencia!!!!!

Trovador Guest House is located in the historic center of Guimarães and offers comfortable suites just 1 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. We only had time to stay in Guimaraes for two nights but we packed a lot of walking and sight seeing into the time we had. The Trovador Guest house operates from a small group of houses in the older part of town near what was the leather tanning area of the city. There are lots of interesting buildings around the area bars, cafes and eateries within easy walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean and it was evident that the building had recently been restored - very tastefully decorated and furnished. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and they went out of their way to help us find things that we were looking for. A great breakfast was also provided with lots of pasteries, and fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices etc.

Featuring outdoor and indoor swimming pools, Tempus Hotel & Spa has a spa, a wellness centre and a restaurant. Quiet location, well-integrated architecture with the landscape, nice pool and spa. Good parking facilities with charging stations.
